Rewa province leaders say the interim Fiji Government has suspended its council meetings after anti government speeches.
In a speech at the meeting Ro Teimumu Kepa - who holds the Roko Tui Dreketi title- again made clear the Rewa Provincial Council did not support the Bainimarama regime.
The speeches also included claims the military government had threatened to withhold three million dollars in development funding unless council leaders supported the regime.

Courageous , from-the-heart, powerful and succinct was this speech and Ro Teimumu Kepa has the solid backing of many citizens all over Fiji for her firm stance.
Our support, solidarity, prayers and unflinching resolve for ridding Fiji of the curse of the coup mindset, must be felt and heard by the rest of the nation, fellow Pacific citizens and the world.
