Fiji Junta Burns all Copies of Ghai's Draft Constitution

We have heard this afternoon that Fiji's military junta have threatened Professor Yash Gahi, stopped the printing presses, seized all the copies of the Draft Constitution and burnt them all . We are currently awaiting verification of this story .

It was bound to happen. The people have spoken and the regime didn't like what was said.

Obviously, this whole process and huge expense was a facade from the very beginning.

For all it was worth, Peni Ganja Mua, known coup supota and Daft Constitution Committee member  (pictured here ) might as well have presented her flipflops to the junta as a running commentary of what was to pass, and saved us all the farce.

It is our hope that overseas government's who have been slowly softening their stance toward Fiji because of the various theatrics put on for them specifically by this very devious regime, now wake up to the Cirque de woilei that is really happening in our country.
