Brute Rule in Force in Fiji

A very, very apt depiction of the situation in Fiji.

The legal system in Fiji collapsed today with the illegal detention of a lawyer representing the GCC. It seems that this illegal junta is going out of its way to intinidate lawyers and to try and stop cases proceding against the junta.

The theft recently in NZ of a lawyer's laptop (she was linked to the GCC case by the junta) is believed to have been perpetrated by the Fijian military.

The illegal appointment of people to the judicary can only increase bananainpyjamas' death lock on Justice.

Fiji, say goodbye to more tourists.

Lamu ga na demu - whats your opinion on the situation while we get raped as a country ? Lamu of expressing yours perhaps - or just got nothing to offer but hot air ? Pote! I don't think that Bubu has been lamu of anything since she starting blogging. As for us we can't wait to see what she comes up with next, so we wait patiently for when she is ready. In the meantime, why don't you give us your side of the story
